The College of the North Atlantic (CNA), Newfoundland and Labrador’s public college is one of the largest post-secondary educational and skills training centres in Atlantic Canada, with a history dating back more than 40 years. Today there 17 campus locations throughout Newfoundland and Labrador and one in the Middle East State of Qatar. CNA offer’s nearly 100 full-time program offerings and more than 300 part-time courses for some 20,000 students each year.
The Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) works with business and communities to make Atlantic Canada’s economy more innovative, productive and competitive. Together, with Atlantic Canadians, we are building a stronger economy.
The Department of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development (INTRD) was created in 2004 to reflect the enhanced emphasis placed on the innovation aspect of the provincial economic agenda. It is the lead agency for economic development in the province and in each of its regions.
