Be sure to inlucde good footwear and wind/waterproof clothing for outdoor pursuits and don’t forget your camera!

The “Profitable Partnerships” course location will vary. Please refer to the course outline details for each course for recommended accommodations.

Q. How does the subsidy program work?

A. The Bonavista Insitute for Cultural Tourism is offering subsidies of up to 50% of eligible expenses to offest the cost of attending.

Eligible expenses include tuition, accomodations, any meals not included in the program and travel. Participants must pay the costs up front and be reimbursed following completion of the course. This same claim will then be sent to participating Provincial Tourism Departments for reimbursement of the additional 25% amount.

Q. When does the course start?

A. While course work begins on the morning of the first date of the course, we will expect participants to travel the day prior and attend an opening reception/meet and greet the evening before. For example, if the course dates are September 23-25, the opening reception will take place on the evening of Septemebr 22.

Q. When does the course finish?

A. The courses will finish early afternoon on the third day of the course dates. For example, if the course is scheduled for September 23-25, the course will end in the early afternoon of September 25.

Q. How much free time is there?

A. These course are very interactive and involve full days. There will be refreshment breaks built into the learning schedule but in order to maximize your time in this learning environment, the days will be long and stimulating. There are no free evenings.
